IP66 wall-mount enclosure, 800 × 800 × 400 mm: 1.5 mm cold-rolled steel, powder coated with a lockable door and double lock catches. Ships from Glen Waverley.
What IP66 means
An IP66 enclosure is dust-tight and resists strong jets of water, so it suits wash-down areas, outdoor walls and dusty workshops. Drill your entries carefully and fit IP-rated glands, or the rating is lost.
Where to use it
Cold-rolled steel with a powder coat is the economical choice for indoor plant rooms, workshops and sheltered outdoor walls. Touch up any scratches so rust cannot start.
The same 800 × 800 × 400 mm size is also available in stainless 304.
Other sizes
Closest sizes in the same material (mm): 500×700×300, 600×600×300, 600×800×400, 1000×1000×400. Leave room inside for cable bends, heat from drives or contactors, and future additions.
Planning the layout
Mark gland positions with the box on its back, check door clearance, and drill from the outside with a step drill to keep the finish clean.
